Full Option Science System (FOSS) and Science & Technology for Children (STC)

The National Science Teachers Association supports the notion that inquiry science must be a basic in the daily curriculum of every elementary school student at every grade level. The National Science Resources Center, an organization that bridges research on how children learn with best practices for the classroom, includes STC and FOSS in the list of K-12 researched-based programs. Both STC and FOSS offer high quality, inquiry-based materials grounded in current research and aligned with the PA Science & Technology Standards and Anchors.
