Agile Robotics
Agile Robotics is a 500 billion dollar immerging industry that consists of intelligent, often mobile devices, vehicles, and machines that reduce the need for human attention in repetitive, dangerous, and inaccessible places.
This program represents a partnership between IU1 STEM Center, Carnegie Mellon University and California University of Pennsylvania. VEX Robots are used to introduce computer programming, electronics or technology education.

Middle School Robotics Engineering
Currently in 11 schools
This program represents a partnership between IU1 STEM Center and Carnegie Mellon University. Students focus on pre-engineering processes and the integration of math and science principles as they design and program Lego Mindstorms robots. Now in its 4th year, the program features:
- Robotics pre-engineering curriculum
- Professional development for teachers
- Materials Support
- Technical support to teachers
- Robotics summer camps for students
